Tool catalog
The catalog is the library of tools available in your account. It includes global tools (predefined by Pulbot, accessible to everyone) and your own tools (created by you or your team).
When to use it
Before building a flow, check the catalog to see if a tool already does what you need. Reusing tools is faster than creating new ones.
Steps
- 1In the left sidebar, click «Tools».
- 2Use the search bar to find tools by name or description.
- 3Filter by category (API, Transform, Condition, Agent, Code) or by origin (global / own).
- 4Click a tool to see its configuration and run it with test data.
- 5To use a tool in a flow: in the canvas, add a node and select the tool from the catalog.
Reference
- Global tools
- Predefined by Pulbot. Includes KV Save/Get/Delete, PDF Reader, common transforms. Read-only — can't be edited, only used.
- Own tools
- Created by you. Appear under «My tools». Reusable across any flow in your account.
- Categories
- API · Transform · Condition · Agent · Code. Each category has its own executor.
- Versions
- Own tools don't have explicit versions. Every change affects all flows that use the tool.
Common errors
- Tool doesn't appear in the canvas
- Check that the tool is active (toggle enabled in the list). Disabled tools can't be added to flows.
- «No permission to edit»
- Global tools are read-only. If you need to modify one, duplicate it as your own tool.
