Upload files to the Knowledge Base


The Knowledge Base (KB) stores documents that the AI agent can query to answer questions based on your content. Useful for product manuals, FAQs, catalogs, and company policies.

Steps

  1. 1In the sidebar, click «Knowledge Base» (or «KB»).
  2. 2Click «Upload file».
  3. 3Select the file from your device. Supported formats: PDF, TXT, DOCX.
  4. 4Pulbot indexes the file automatically (may take a few seconds depending on size).
  5. 5Once the status shows «Indexed», the file is ready to be queried by the agent.

Reference

Formats
PDF · TXT · DOCX. Content must be readable text (not scanned images without OCR).
Max size
50 MB per file.
Indexing
Pulbot splits the file into chunks and generates vector embeddings for semantic search.
Multiple files
You can have multiple files in the KB. The agent searches all of them simultaneously.
Update a file
To update content, delete the file and upload the new version.

Common errors

«Unsupported format»
Only PDF, TXT, and DOCX. Convert the file to the correct format before uploading.
Indexing fails
The file may be corrupted or password-protected. Verify it opens normally.
Agent doesn't find info from the file
The file may not have finished indexing. Wait until the status shows «Indexed».
